I'm as eager as most of y'all, but Dabo needs to say nothing to the fans until Elliott is announced as the HC at UVA or Elliott says, "I'm not going anywhere. I will be at Clemson next year."
Until then, Dabo will and should be silent.

While I agree that some sort of reassuring statements from him would be nice, I’m sure his bosses in the athletic department told him to hold off until things have calmed down a bit.
First of all, we need to hire an AD. Then, we need to hire a DC. We also need to figure out what Elliott is doing, and hire an OC if he leaves.
My money is on internal hires all around, all in the name of Clemson family and stability:
Neff for AD
Bates or Reed for DC
Streeter for OC

He only needs o address Clemson Nation when he decides to leave. Otherwise let the new acting AD handle the media so Dabo can work on the issues.

Dude, step away from the side of the cliff. I have been attending Football games at Clemson since the early 70's. I've seen the highs and lows. Football is cyclical and there are a whole lot of things more important in life. Regardless of what is happening now, Clemson will remain relevant in college football in the future.
