I do not want him to leave and hope he stays. However, if he feels it is best for him then, good luck!! Honestly, it cannot last forever and with Garrett Riley I would roll the dice

What really amuses me about the whole storyline is Fraudbaum slamming Swinney endlessly, and then when he wants him to come to the SuxEC, the whole narrative changes. Such a slimeball m0r0n.

What amuses me even more, is when someone will follow it up with their headline stating, Dabo leaving. My one but very important question is this. When did Dabo announce that he was leaving???? I'm on T-Net several times every day and I haven't seen anywhere where Crumpton, Hood, or Brandon Rink has made a top of the page Breaking News report about Dabo Swinney leaving Clemson for the Head Coach opening at Texas A&M. Until we have seen that posted at the top of the home page, anything posted about that kind of BS is nothing more than somebody having a lot of time to waste!!!

Never been called a coot before lol. Anyways, it was too much time on my hands maybe. It was meant to be as a devil's advocate type inquiry. If he left would we be ok with Riley.
Never said I wanted him to leave or insinuated that he was leaving, just asking a question. I guess people are easily offended and do not like to ask the what if questions in life. Sorry it affected several of you so negatively
Go Tigers!! See some of you in Columbia

I read the headline - just enough to see that Finebaun said Dabo would be a good fit at A&M. That is one of the most laughable takes I have seen. A&M has a culture that is bought with cash. That is not the type of culture Dabo would fit into at all. What a joke.

What is it going to take to get your pulse to 100%?? Checking back into Tigernet after being away for a while, I always am interested in seeing if you’ve climbed that mountain yet. You just can’t get along with enough people to ever get that 1% that will make your life worth living. I know this pulse thing is a major priority in your life, enough so that you fabricated the tough guy family drama for what you hoped would be enough pity points to get you there.
I can not express in words how happy I am that you will never get to 100%. There is no way even me carelessly and randomly calling you out like this will even help. You’re just 99% with a lot of points and a lot of lies and a lot of posts.

The likelyhood of Dabo leaving Clemson is so extremely low that it's not worth discussion..
1 he is already one of the highest paid HC's in CFB. 2 he is virtually immune from being fired, for life. 3 He has put his stamp on CFB as a HC and is already a shoe in for the HOF 4 He is basically given free reign by the AD and BOT 5 He created the culture for the program and saw his vision come to fruition. 6 he built his dream house where it sits 7 He has proven you can reach the pinnacle of CFB at Clemson, not a given that you can at other schools 8 it makes zero sense for him to leave and have to rebuild a program elsewhere. The cultural repercussions from Jimbo's tenure at FSU is just now being fixed. A&M could be even worse. 9 he is given ample freedom and finances to hire who he wants to hire and pay them accordingly
10 loyalty. Dabo is a man of character. He has always stressed loyalty in the program, a couple of times to his own detriment. He demands loyalty in recruiting. The committed player is expected to be true to his verbal pledge and remain loyal by no further visits. If they do take others he will cut them loose, no matter the scouting reports, accolades or star ranking.
It would make no sense for him to leave. Just how BV said for years he was happy where he was at and the greener pastures were not as appealing to him over where he was. He said he was happy and well paid. Well Dabo is too. The ONLY job i could even fathom him leaving for is Bama.

Personally I don't even think he would leave for Bama. He's spent almost as much of his life in Clemson as he did Bama. I think like the rest of us lifelong Clemson fans...it's in his blood. I tell people all the time if you're not a true Clemson fan you just don't get how it gets in your blood. There's something about this little town that hooks you. I never get anywhere close to campus without riding by The Valley. If I'm on the lake up around Clemson I have to be sure I get to a spot to see The Valley. I still to this day as a 52 year old man have tears running down my face everytime I see those buses turn the corner and start unloading to run down the hill and have flash backs to when I was a little kid dreaming of someday running down that hill myself. All the traditions. All the memories. I truly think Dabo is one of us. A Clemson Tiger. His kids will all be graduates. His whole immediate family is here. It's not just a job IMO it's home. He's got all the money he will ever need. He's not a wordly man who wants to be the richest. Alabama is already a dynasty. If you go there and for some reason it fails...it can tarnish your legacy. Dabo has total control at Clemson as he should given all he has done. Look at all the new business and construction. Clemson's ROI with Dabo is unbelievable. I see Dabo spending the rest of his career here and I hope I'm right. Proud to have such a man of faith and character lead our program.

Don’t disagree with you, but I think you forgot the #1 reason:
#1 Who wants to hire a coach that hates NIL.
Can’t fight “city hall” (aka NCAA)

Aggies have proven they want quick success or you're out. Dabo has built Dabo World at Clemson. Yes, he does have to put up with whiney ### fans (not at many as CBB), but the number of whiney ### fans would be much higher at A&M. What some of you people fail to understand is this -- Dabo's record of success entitles him to coach at Clemson as long as he wants to. He will make the decision, not Clemson. You take the bad with the good, and there has been way more good.

Dabo is treated almost biblically here at Clemson. As sensitive as he is to criticism, why go where it will be 10 fold from fans, and those big money oil boosters who will be his boss. That ain’t Dabo.

Good point Cobbox! Knowing Aggieland like I do, the primary ATM whiners are actually the big donors and board members who run the place. At Clemson, it is the 1.5% which is minimal and can be ignored. At ATM, it's the Big Dogs and Bag Men who do the whining and batching incessantly and it's been that way as long as I been watching ATM play, which is about 50 years. It is almost like watching the Coots self destruct over and over except on a grander, Texas-size scale!

Who is saying Dabo is leaving? If he were to leave, and I find that incredibly unlikely, he will be expected to adapt to the modern ways of college football. He will be expected to use the portal, and he will have to get used to being questioned and criticized more.
Do you think A&M would want him to bring along all the dead weight on his staff besides Riley and Pork Chop? No…
I would expect to wake up and see the President on TV announcing the discovery of extraterrestrial life before I hear Dabo is going to A&M.
