It seems crazy to imagine no one would want to hire Dabo away doesn’t it? I mean look at his track record, all time levels right? That’s a fact and it can’t be debated.
So why didn’t Alabama want him? Did they even interview him? He is from there, played there, won a title as a player, he is a Bama boy.
There are two Dabo Swinney’s. The one from 2009-2020ish. And there is the current one in the NIL/Portal era. The current Dabo is unable to come to terms with the new rules and believes that his feelings on the new rules are more important than what he is paid 11.5 million for. That’s winning championships.
I think the hard truth is Dabo needs to adapt and fire some deadweight coaches on offense, or maybe he should do something else. For the programs sake.

I enjoyed the winning ride while a lot was complaining about how we were winning. Should have won by more.
Dabo is not going anywhere unless it’s his own doing. We will win 9 or 10 games and beat S.C. 7 out of 8 times and I will enjoy the ride.

I think there are 134 teams in D1 right now and out of that many I would guarantee about 110 or 115 would want Dabo. Don’t be an idiot, fella. I know people are frustrated over the Georgia loss, but this comment is ridiculous.

Who cares about that poll? Not me.
I'm tired of Clemson fans acting like coots. When they lose they think the house is on fire and look for people to blame. When they win or play well, they expect a National Championship to be around the corner.
Get some perspective guys!!! We lost to # UGA. Yes, our offense struggled and our defense gave up chunk plays. No one is seeing fault with our defense or blaming Terrell or Venerables who got severely picked on ( and literally picked).
Let's get a few more games under our belt and see what we have. And you know what, even if we lose too many, I'll be all in all the time as a Clemson Tiger. I endured 4 awful football seasons in the mid-70s, and cheered until the final whistle. I'll do the same every game and every year.

Wasn't Dabo on the verge of being fired years ago? The AD went and hired Morris and Venables making them the highest paid. This was Dabo's 3rd set of coordinators and last chance. These hires with PEDs and IPTAY money changed the program. Now Dabo is by himself again and is the reason for the downward spiral. There is one common denominator.
I was talking to a Clemson fan after the game and he made the comment..."Is he trying to get fired? Maybe he wants to quit, but he wants the buy out." I know it sounds crazy, but he made a good point.

UGA has won 8 of the last 9 games vs Clemson
UGA now leads the series 44-18-4 (Nine of Clemson's wins came before 1915!)

No and the AD didn't go out and hire anyone. Dabo made those hires. Does Dabo need ot make some changes to his approach? Yes, but he will resign long before anyone with any say decides he needs to be fired.

This is idiotic. Dabo has done more for Clemdon football than anyone in Clemson history. He’ll do what’s right for the program. Who wants to bounce between Coaches like so many other programs? …,aka SC. I’ll trust in Dabo..

I think Dabo is trying to prove his belief that he can win without using the portal and believing in his guys. If he can do that which I think we are close if we get top notch position coaching and play calling on offense and defense.
I thunk we are closer than we think if Cade can continue to improve with his reads and pull the trigger quicker.
Moore and Wesco are impressive and can be weapons to balance Williams and the TE.
Excited to see the NC State game
