No Clemson qb ever turned a 6 yard loss into a 12 yard loss like Cullen Harper. As soon as pressure presented itself, Cullen would retreat. Im not saying Cade is better at handling pressure, he runs right like the FCC commissioner but, Cullen refused to step up in the pocket to face pressure and a throw away or managble sack or (gasp) stepping up in the pocket to complete a pass was unheard of. Cullen was Dabos first qb... which makes him the qb that got TB fired.

Harper did lead the ACC in yardage, TD's, and completion percentage one year though on a team with less talent.

You remember that little run they had where their biggest accomplishment was losing by a record drubbing in the CG and ending up with 5th place rings to show for it. Other than that I can’t readily think of a QB with a losing record to the dirt peckers. Can you? If there are some it ain’t many? Poor coots.

Before he broke his collerbone in his first college action. Yes. Found the bone sliver damaging the nerve about 4 years later and fixed it. Same Willy at North Greenville. Setting records and throwing it all over the field. His udiagnosed medical issue (fluke injury) was the saddest thing I've ever seen. Tiger fans never got to see the real Willy Korn. Oh Well.

I had a few classes with him and he was a super nice and down to earth guy. A few years later I ran into him in downtown Greenville, he still remembered my name and chatted for a bit. Definitely a very sad case of what could have been for him at CU, definitely a Clemson man

What kind of offense are we running?

I’d take Cullen if we are running a pro-style offense with a more traditional pocket passer.
I’d take Cade if we are doing more RPO and need a running threat at QB.
I think Cade is more versatile but I probably trust Cullen more to keep his poise.
