Not exactly what was said

Was more about schools in territory that they recruit very heavily gaining more traction in recruiting and posing a bigger threat in those areas than before. Which is absolutely true.

I find it interesting that they no longer include Clemson in the recruiting conversation. They've lost hope.

Of course they did manage to take a jab with their historical factoid. For a second I was utterly impressed that they could go a whole article without mentioning us.

Coots are super recruiting getting Murphy! They are making GT and UNC work for recruits because they were theirs in the 1st place.

My favorite post...
TN_gamecoot
"South Carolina as a state is known more for football than North Carolina. North Carolina obviously is known more for basketball. It would be bad for us if UNC starts out recruiting us in NC or GA. We need Desmond Evans from NC as well as Myles Murphy."
Checking the records.... computing, computing, computing.
South Carolina Conference Champions: 1 Duke: 7 NCSU: 7 UNC: 5 Wake: 2
So the schools in NC are 21-1 vs "South Carolina" in conference Championships. They are even 3-1 against the coots for "divisional" championships with Wake getting a W there.
Meanwhile, Clemson has 18.
So I am amending that statement. Clemson is know for Football....

Correction: Clemson football has 24 conference titles. (4 SIAA, 2 SoCon, 18 ACC)

This is true, but I was taking ACC/SEC titles of modern conferences into account. Then NC would have 9 titles, NC State 11, and Duke 17. Duke has 10 socon titles, dang...
So if you want to count all time, NC is 39 titles to 1 coot trophy.

A chickens footprint isn't very big . I wonder , often .... if they'd be better off just having an open house for 2? and 3? recruits and giving door prizes to anyone that showed up ? Maybe Muscoot could wear a helmet at the function to indicate they are serious about football .
