HECK NO! No apologies from me. I am a Clemson fan and will always think it is a Cooter taking a shot at Clemson when something like this happens.
It may be a misguided Tiger fan BUT #### if I am going to offer apologies to a bunch of squawking birds who hate my school.

I assume in a like manner.
making fun of your rival is part of the action. You draw the line, however, at defacing anything close to the institution.
This is why I never believed a south carolina supporter would have done this - clemson has had Howard's Rock on display for many years and nothing like this has happened until now. Why now, in the middle of summer when nothing is going on? Sounded more like a drunk frat or a stupid kid trying to be clever.
