That had to be the stupidest young woman ever. To knowingly write something like that on a school smart board and allow photo to be taken and shared. I know that school accepts the lower iq but they really are scraping the bottom

If she is suspended, we can assume they quickly did their investigation and she wrote the racial slur. This isn't the first time racism has been a problem at USuC. They had a problem with sharing the frat quads with minorities some time back with fraternities posting racial slurs online.

Our country has taken steps back in the race relations category lately. For the sake of this post I will disclose that I'm black, brown, African-American and me. I'm guessing at some of the causes but that is debatable so I'm not going to volunteer my opinions there. However my point in posting (and my hope) is that our society is smart enough to have real conversations about diversity. Hopefully we will be real about how much of it we can tolerate now...and realize why real diversity is a valid goal with genuine social benefits and beyond. I don't think this is a black, white nor brown problem. ...it is a human problem. I'm hoping we can take the current opportunities to advance in that area.

...and I hope and pray that our tigers don't get pulled into the national conversation. ....but since this is a issue of our entire society, it is only a matter of time since campus can't evade the trends of society.

I hope we as people can use our currrnt struggles to elevate as a civilization. (My dream of choice tonight lol ).
