After several months of applying and searching after graduating in December I finally have a job. And the best part is that it's in Clemson!! Thank the Lord!

If my first job out of school had been in Clemson, I probably would have been fired within a few months. Luckily it was in Raleigh, NC where I knew no one and had to drink alone

Thanks! It's entry level business work. A lot of finance, accounts payable, payroll, and other business work. I'll enjoy the experience that will come with it!

If I can give any advice, I will tell you to get your experience, but treat every position like it's your dream job. People notice quickly when the low man on the totem pole works hard and enjoys it.

that's fantastic!
Learn about the company, volunteer for various things that the company does, cross-train, and learn basic professional etiquette. Dress like the CEO. Don't poke the secretary. Don't watch #### on the company computer.

You have no idea. Applying everyday and waiting for people to call you back is one of the more stressful things I've had to deal with. And I started applying at the beginning of Fall semester, probably did over 50 applications. Perseverance pays off though.
