Food for thought.... So as i try to imagine or think of where Clemson will be, I believe this.
In my personal opinion, I think Clemson will end up in the BIG. Reason for this is that they will wont a big footprint into the south. Even with the SEC wanting us because of location, the BIG will overpower them with FOX money. When this will happen in, In my thoughts will be 2027. The buyout will be low enough that they will bite and we will go. So with the scheduling all taken place its just for the moment to allow us to make as much as we can in this absolute garbage conference called the ACC. Let me know your thoughts. All is welcomed.

I would rather be in the SEC as well, but i just feel like it would be the BIG just because of their desire to expand their reach(footprint).

Clemson is not AAU accredited. So, no BIG because the BIG presidents are not voting for a non AAU Accredited member.
Hopefully, the SEC will expand and and take little old Clempp son.

I cant remember which schools they are but, I pretty sure there is 2 or 3 that are in the BIG that are not AAU credited.

Nebraska lost their AAU 12 years ago after they got it when the joined the Big Ten. Big Ten hasn't kicked them out yet because they are AAU no more.

BTW. I still think Clemson and UNC will go to the SEC sooner than later and FSU/Miami to the BIG. Keep in mind the BIG only need two more schools if 20 is the magic number for the Power 2 Super Leagues. The SEC needs four more.

Yea its wild to think that conferences have gotten this way. I was thinking more less 24 would be the magic number for the BIG and SEC to get to, to become power 2. I have no doubt that we will be included, but i really hope its sooner than later, because the ACC has became such a laughing stock with no leadership and just ignorance

Here is what we don't know.
1. How big will the SuperLeague be? 48, 56, 64, 72?
2. When that is decided, then ESPN and Fox will figure out how to divide up the teams into groups.
Heck, it may not even be under the names SEC and B1G if they decide to go above 48.
With that said, I think the probability is 80% that Clemson ends up in SEC and 50/50 as to which conference FSU ends up in.

Truth is Bret that we don't have any idea. The fun is the guessing game of it all. I enjoy trying to figure it out and what is going to happen in the near future. Like I said I think the realignment is going to blow up in 2027 and how much excitement there will be seeing the changes, and hopefully the implosion of the ACC will be the sweetest thing of all!
