comparison. Murphy is one of the best DEs we've ever had. XT is a better version of Beasley IMO. The #s from this year vs past were dictated by situation and even some by rotation. Situationally, almost all our games were tight, fewer plays in the game etc due to our O. The previous records mentioned were set on teams that were blowing out about every team they played which drastically increases teams dropbacks and thus sack opportunities. And many of those past seasons had extra ACCCG and Playoff games to add to the totals.

IMHO Murphy does not get the respect or additional reps he deserves. Tigers are much better with MM on the field.

Forgot where I read it, but XT had 18 (eighteen) QB pressures in 2021. As you said, Ryan, that's what one would call "disruptive."
