Deion and his boy really should humble themselves. 4-8 and they are calling former players out and talking smack.
I give him maybe another year - who would want to play for him?

I agree but I admit I didn't think they'd win 4 games last season either. I can't see the turmoil and associated drama is good. Reminds me of Penny Hardaway at memphis basketball.

When your "value" in life is based on how many SM followers you have or what your watch costs, expect life to be a series of dramas. Deion goes from one fake persona to another and has his entire life, so his kids have always lived in a world of make believe. Deion says that the entire 'Neon" persona was fake, something he made up. So, was the Christian Preacher fake, too? How about the devoted father and husband (which ended in divorce)? Was he just an act as well? When your entire life is filled with fake and delusion, what would you expect his children to be? They don't have a clue what the real world is all about. I feel sorry for them.

Most Christians I know could be scrutinized and labeled fake.
People who know me and the things of my past would probably say the same about me.
The Apostle Paul said it best, "I do the things I hate, and the things I want to do I don't" "Who can save me from this destruction oh wretched man that I am?"
Blessed be Glory to God through Christ Jesus, that's who. (Romans Chapter 7)
My point is, I'm making it a point to not make judgements of other people because I realize that I'll be judged by the same standard. (Romans 2:1)

No one is judging anyone. That is God's job (thankfully). But there is nothing un-Christian about giving ones opinion on how Deion or Dabo is running their program.

Hundred percent agree.
Perfectly acceptable for folks to have opinions.
If I ran my mouth like Coach Prime does and if I treated people like Coach Prime does, I would be 100% ready for people to have some strong opinions about me.

WildHogg seemed to be judging based on what Sanders wants him to see. What he is like behind closed doors who knows. I'm not in favor of how he does things but his success in doing it his way will play out soon enough. I am quite happy with how our program is run and who is running it so I'll let him be him

His success isn't going to play out any time. He's simply not a good coach.

Christians aren’t hypocrites because they continue to sin in spite of their faith - Christians are no less sinners than are non-Christians. The difference is they know God’s grace and can acknowledge it.
As CS Lewis said “The only thing I contribute to my salvation is the sin that makes it necessary.”
If DS says he is a Christian I accept that as his profession of faith. I do not evaluate that in the context of how he conducts his football program whether I approve or not.
That being said I’ll take Dabo’s approach hands down

People forget how bad Colorado was in 2022. They only played in 2 games where they did not get beat by over 21 points. They scored more than 21 points once and gave up less than 40 points once.
Last year they were 4-8. But they had 5 other 1 possession games. Only 3 teams beat them by more than 1 score. I am not a Colorado fan, and Shedeur needs to learn not to bash players who have just been cut, but last year was a successful season for Colorado.
As for who would want to play for him. Lots of people. He is one of the best of all time at his position. He will draw lots of eyeballs to games and if you are good he will make you a star.
I don't see them ever winning anything big, that recruiting pitch doesn't work for O-Line and the ME policy, while great for a CB locking down the WR1 it isnt great for an overall great defense. However the skill players and hype alone could get him 9-10 win seasons.

Did you watch them play? Their defense is sorry, and soft. Yes they got a good offense skill players but also no one had good film on him til later in season vs D1 teams and he got wrecked. Multiple games he was spitting out blood bc he was slammed to the ground so much bc their Oline is sorry as well. Id bet my life savings and all future earnings that Colorado doesn’t win 9-10 games more like 3-4 like last year!

Yes I did, thought not a ton. But I am not convinced you did because the defense was not good but it was actually the opposite they got better as the season went on, the offense is what got them into trouble late in the season.
And I meant like in the future hence the word seasonS. Like eventually they will win 9-10 games. Vegas has them at 5.5 right now and that seems right.

I knew Colorado and USC would collapse after their fast starts. Don't remember but I think I even posted that here after Colorado got lucky and beat Colorado State.
I give Deion credit for raising a 1-11 team from the dead and going 4-8. Thing is, he didn't seem to lay a foundation they could build on last year and I don't see them getting much better than that.
We'll see. Now that the ridiculous hype and pomp is gone, Deion will be measured only by results. My guess is they go 5-7 and squeak into a low-level bowl game.
IMO, he won't stay at Colorado after this coming season because Shedeur is leaving. If he does, my respect for him will increase.

Coach prime is currently building a team for 2024.
He is not building a program.
At the end of the 2024 season when he does not make the playoffs, he will then begin building a team for 2025.
So far he has shown no ability to build a program.

I don't see him winning much more in 2O24, and less un 2025 because I don't think he will he there. His son will he gone to the NFL in some capacity, top five or not; just don't see Sanders sticking around more than another year at most. My biggest gripe with him however is how he treats players. coaching them up, fine. But if they transfer and even if they talk smack take the high road. One of them is SUPPOSED to be the elder, with wisdom and patience. Bashing kids that are gone, or even worse, players on another team that never played for him is a BIG no imo. If I'm the coach at Austin Peay, I'd have already placed a phone call to Sanders for that. And his " I got time today" tweet? Let me think, Did Saban "have time?" does Kirby, Or Dabo. REAL coaches are working on making their actual teams better, not just trying to hustle kids which is basically what I see Deion doing. He's become a Pimp in a lot of ways. I hope he learns, but he wont.. He's older than I am and has zero humility it would appear. Hard to learn lessons when you don't think you're wrong.
