This was my Sophomore year. I sat on the one yard line and yelled my head off and to this day, I feel I was partly responsible for their lack of progress each and every time SCAR got to the goal line.

I was a junior so I had better seats. We also lost our voices, Early Times and coke can only help your throat so much. Loved those days, every student went.

Yes, that my Freshman year also and I remember that program well. The thing that made that game so sweet was 1) we were not favored, 2) Bowl scouts were there to invite the Coots if they won, and 3) My High School was I n Cayce, and several HS buddies that chose to go to USCjr were staying with me in the Dorm.
So not only did we win, but the opponents disappointment and shame made the Victory a little sweeter!
I wish we could go back to the simple but creative programs we had back then.

Team warmed up outside stadium on old soccer field. Crowd erupted when coming down the hill. Throttled the yardbirds. Red Parker fired days later in favor of Charley Pell.
