As for Clemson..

Without the Bear, Bama is just a regular school in football.
Saban is again showing it's the coach, not the school.
In the 30 years between Bear and Saban NCs, Alabama won one national championship, with Gene Stallings, also from A&M. Bama fans get on their knees every day to pray toward the west and thank A&M, so I guess that's why Beer Bryant has this silly idea Clemson would need to thank anybody.

No doubt. There are a few Bama guys who can see the reality of life better than others. Frank,Danny, Charlie and Dabo for sure saw a great thing when it was offered to them. Clemson is where 'it's' at!

But isn't it great that sport nuts, and fans from the big time schools are seeing the writings on the wall that Clemson is becoming the next super power of college FB. And it doesn't matter where our coaches have come from bc Clemson is in the same place it has always been. The coaches are coming to us, we're not going to them!!!

if Rich hadn't turned down the Alabama job: Saban would have landed somewhere else and won a few NCs and LSU would be the dominant team in the SEC (but maybe without Alabama's rise from the ashes, Meyer would have stayed at Florida).

two of those were Auburn graduates by the way. So both of the major football programs from the state of Alabama have helped us with former alums being coaches. Thank God, though we didn't inherit your cheating, poor academics, and arrest cover up culture. And you left off the first Bama alum Clemson HC, Frank Howard. Over the past 10 years Bama has benefitted form hiring former Clemson assistants. So Clemson has played a major role in Bama's current success. Without former Clemson assistants who would Nick Saban turn to.

Well, 1 out of 3 of them (only Dabo) hasn't led us to probation using AL's practices (and I would have to say that Ford suffered the consequences of Pell's sins), but it's the secheat way. And, oh by the way, I think I did see where there is a new NCAA investigation concerning AL underway. Ho-Hum! No news there, I guess. You might want to go back over to an AL board where they don't notice those things. Over here, we know how to read.
