Clemson basketball fans

Come on man. I love football more than anyone else on here but we are about to be done with football soon. My question is why can SC have a sell out rowdy crowd tonight giving them a TRUE HOME GAME ADVANTAGE.

BUT when Memphis comes to town we give excuses that the college students gone home and we have to fill their seats with children. Ridiculous!!! They had a real home court advantage tonight it was rocking and we can’t do the same. Call me a coot or judges wife or whatever the **** you want it’s the truth! Our home court doesn’t give that much help like what we played against tonight.

Columbia isn’t just a “college town” like Clemson is.
It’s the state capital so its population encompasses a lot more than just college students like Clemson does.
It sucks for sure to not create a great atmosphere at games but it’s kind of limited to students to pack the house, comparatively to USuCk that is going to have a more diverse group in attendance.

Oh and by the way our basketball team played with GRIT tonight as usual. Could’ve easily won and spoiled that hyped crowd including the cringe women’s bball coach at the end of the game they put on camera doing the swag surfin….ewwwww that was hard to watch.

I think that’s on the scheduling … whoever is doing it is doing a terrible job planning games when students are in town. Scar just played usc upstate why aren’t we playing those type of games when the students aren’t around and the Memphis game when campus is buzzing… makes no sense

I was at the Memphis game. The fans caused Memphis to turn the ball over at least 5 or 6 times in that game with all the noise….our problem with our basketball program is not the fans……it has been with our head coach….. you will get one good season out of every 4 or 5 and that is it……and he has a 15 year old track record to prove it…..it ain’t getting any better as long as he is the head man!

I disagree. Yea that was true 7-10 years ago I would agree with you during that time but lately it is clearly getting better. We went to the elite 8 last year and sweet 16 right before Covid year. I just don’t understand people saying this. Facilities have gotten better and better recruits/transfers. Enough with that narrative. Let’s go back to the shyatt days or purnell one and one in ncaa tourney yeah…

Bottom line is. In my opinion… not all but a lot of fans on here are being influenced by this judge character…
He is obviously playing reverse psychology working Clemson fans to turning against Brownell and the team as a whole.
Maybe I’m wrong but sure does seem like it to me.

Why just go for football and not basketball??!!
Our basketball team is good this year, was good last year. What’s the beef???
