Last info I can find about that;

"Nkemdiche's father withdrew his name from consideration from a job at the University of Mississippi Medical Center after a committee of the the Mississippi Legislature reviewed an anonymous email claiming recruiting violations by Ole Miss."

Looks like it was treated as a no harm, no foul situation. Nothing to see here. Move along.

but then they get the recruiting class they got.

But momma Nkemdiche thought this was the school for her black son. Unbelievable.

They are, but what gets me is that kids, black kids that are thought of as second class, want to go there. It will never change.
The white folks in the stands do not care about them, they would spit on them in the street given half a chance.

Never understood that either. A soft boycott by black players would do plenty to change that. If a school wants to keep that outdated culture then fine. Good luck being the permanent doormat of the SEC and college football.

I am proud of being from the South. I hate no one, but I don't approve of much of the political correctness concerning gays which is forced on all who are opposed to it......Go Tigers!

Even if you don't agree with it, you do not harass their work.

I agree that political correctedness goes too far at times, but shouting "F@G" at the actors (one of whom is gay) is horrible. Regardless of your religious beliefs, that's unacceptable.

Figuratively and somewhat literally
Oct 3, 2013, 1:20 PM
|

They student body president (black girl) recalls a time where she was called the N word and spat at.
So, I did not mean it literal, but it can be taken that way.
When it is 2012 and a school is having race riots, there are problems.

I have to semi-name drop and say that my brother's gf is the house director mentioned in that article.
He's there at school, but is a huge Clemson fan and really dislikes their fanbase (said it reminds him too much of Coots).

The Irony is Sad

I'm sure at least some of the players/people who participated in all this were black. It's not long ago where, especially at a place like Ole Miss, these students would be harrassed and called horrible names themselves...now that they're a bit more accepted socially, they have no problem pushing their hate and insecurities on others.
