Chris Denson is the answer.

This kid has a live arm and is very Deshaun-esque in terms of feel for the game.
We don't need to go into the portal for a QB. We do, however, need to get a legitimate QB coach and offensive coordinator. I'm hopeful Dabo will make a few good hires in the off-season and dip into the portal to put good pieces in place around Chris.
We all know Dabo - Vizzina will start game 1 but if he doesn't get it done Denson will be in by the 2nd half.

If Denson was even a shell of Watson he would’ve saw the field more than what he did this year. I hope he can develop into Watson but I don’t know. Watson had that it factor. Watson played his best in the biggest moments and he made decisions very fast and rarely made the wrong decisions. That is hard to find in player but if we could find that man that would be great to have at the qb position.

DW made a LOT of bad decisions. He threw a LOT of interceptions. However, he made a lot of great decisions and TD passes also. Great>>>Bad.

And it's not even close. I truly hate the decisions he has made. Best player ever and we cant have him back.

Pretty sure he’s seen it and saw it quite a bit. Just hasn’t had a chance to play.
Hopefully his time will come. I’ll look forward to seeing him in the spring game. (if anyone team doesn’t purchase him)

Absolutely not. He's not even a Kelly Bryant comparison.

I agree. Something about dynamic dual-threat QB that’s also left-handed sounds like it could be an exciting development.

LOL, I can't wait for the excuses of dropped passes due to the ball spinning differently from the qb.

Look at Pitt QB Heintshell and SMU QB Jennings

Both have very strong arms, but nothing like Carson Beck.
Both are very accurate, but nothing like (injured) SYR QB Angeli.
What makes Heintschell and Jennings special and distinctive from the above are two factors:
(1). Superior field vision and the ability to make lightning fast decisions to throw the ball to (often) unexpectedly / ‘semi-broken play’ receivers.
(2). The movement skills to be a serious threat to scramble for critically needed (sometimes also pretty big yardage), which in turn (because of their threat to run) buys them extensive additional time in the pocket to see the field while (initially) covered WRs break open and then hit THOSE receivers for important and/or big yardage.
Of course, DeShaun Watson possessed all of the above attributes that made him an incredibly effective QB.
Does Chris Denson have all those attributes? I guess we’ll see.

I’m not sure why you think this. He’s played 1 play this season and was -2 yards.

High school footage, spring game reps, practice reports

Dude can spin it and is very fluid with his movements.
Shifty runner similar to Deshaun.
Gonna be an exciting player.
Dabo just described him as quote "elite, elite, elite."
If everything goes as planned we will see him against Furman.

Would be great to see him for several series against furman. His HS film is impressive but if he’s even close to Deshawn, you wouldn’t be able to keep him off the field.

Yep. I love how we brought him in for one play. Basically telling the defense “this is going to be a direct snap for quarterback power with no possibility of a pass!” Result: TFL.

No, he's not. He's very, very raw. He needs another year in S&C and definitely another year learning the playbook. This was a "project" signing and we knew that when we recruited him.

Comparing him to Woody, I am guessing that there is hardly a person here that remembers Woody's first plays at Death Valley and what the results were ...... and who it was against. It takes time on a football field in a real game to develop.
