There’s been some posts regarding Chase having a chance of coming back.

NIL has completely flipped this type of situation.

Reasoning for him leaving would include his overall career as a lethal scorer, and lots of focus on the tournament run to the elite 8. Against the best competition.

But it’s still uncertain if Chase gets drafted. While Chase would do extremely well in the G-league, the maximum salary is about $40,000.

I am not sure about how much Chase gets in NIL, but it certainly increased after this year.

So why not stay another year? First of all, the team next year may even be better than last year.

If Chase came back, the 2 biggest losses would be PJ and Girard. And not to sound like an a**, but I think the recruits we have coming in and some transfers that we’re going to get can make up some ground for them.

Seriously we may be better next year. We should be.

So Chase, why not? 10 years ago you wouldn’t have gotten paid to come back, but now you do.

Have a stellar year and boost your stock and get drafted. And if not, you got paid and you’re back in the same spot you are now.

Yeah, i posted this last night. He comes back after leading the Tigers on their run he will have a great shot to be preseason 1st team All-ACC. It was rumored that PJ made $400k nil last season, so I think Chase could match that or more at Clemson next season.

I wish there was a way to get Godfrey and Schieff on the court together more often. Neither guards a 3 and both undersized for a 5 but both very valuable players especially rebounding
