That dude could not guard him off the dribble all day and any back side help would have been too late
The starting senior PG has to recognize that and not dish it off to a non-shooter to chuck a desperation 3 when a 3 is not needed

Incorrect. Hunter was not doubled. He could have beat that defender baseline off the dribble. That was his senior moment and he passed it up.

A decent coach would make sure his players knew what to do in that situation. Unfortunately we don’t have one of those.
