One longtime Clemson commitment texted the Tigers’ newest commitment Monday afternoon, and the message he received back was short and to the point but good news for Clemson’s coaches and for the 2015 recruiting cycle - Christian Wilkins is happy to be a Tiger. This is a very impressive get for the coaching staff. I figured Wilkins would be a longshot, but he was one of our most important targets for this cycle in my opinion. We're going to be reloading along the DL for a long time. This kid would have easily been a 5* were he from the South. Shows you how little the rating system matters. He can obviously play with the very best. Seems like a smart kid, too. Welcome aboard, Christian!

Glad to have this young man as a Tiger...what I have seen impresses me. I know he will be a great one.... Go Tigers. Keep getting these guys... We know he will help us to be a great team.... Looking forward to seeing him in a Tiger uniform ...and on the field.... Can't you see the big guy running down the hill... Nothing like it in college football...I can feel the rush even now.
