Some people are just meant to be coordinators. I don’t care what kind of program you inherited, not winning a conference game in two years is a joke. His program is a laughingstock.

Chad Morris's major issue is he has no QB. Everything will alway look worse than it is when your QB's are as bad as his are. He'll get another year and he better go hit the transfer portal hard and find one or he'll be out next year.
Arkansas hasn't even begun paying off Brett Beliema's buy out so taking on 2 buy outs at 1 time is tough for any program. Then you have to pony up for a new coaching staff. Their probably monteraly in a rougher spot than they are on the football field.
If they can afford all that, I'd be in Winston-Salem holding Dave Clawson at gunpoint and teaching him pig-soooo right now.

Didn't Chad pump new life into an SMU program that had BOTH feet in the grave? SMU is probably playing with HIS players. Chad seems to find really good talent at QB and skill positions. He just doesn't know how to use them to their potential. He would be great at some program where he is NOT a HC and finds those special recruits.

He did a great job with Boyd and he was the guy who got DW4 headed to Clemson .
Will always respect the man for getting our offenses shaped up and helping out our recruiting by proxy .
He's failing at Arkansas though , and no matter the causation it is not looking like he'll be there long if something short of miraculous doesn't happen .

Since becoming a head coach he has NEVER beaten a power 5 school. Let that sink in for a moment. I like Chad, but I agree, he’s a coordinator.

I agree with both: he was instrumental in our turnaround and he is not a great OC.
what we saw was Chad running the O he likes with players possessing the skill set he wants. when he qb has different skills Chad cant adjust (see Cole Stoudt).
I harbor no I'll will, but I dont miss him much either. it is possible he might make a great consultant and it could be he would do really well at a d2 school. he has talent. but I dont think he has greatness.

He's been close this year and with a little better end game fate they are sitting with 4 or 5 wins....he cant be getting embarrassed by so-so teams like Miss St but I think he gets another year that's do or die.

If Chad gets fired , and Jeff goes to FSU , AND WILL MOST LIKELY TAKE Tony E with him , the Dabo can bring Chad as our oc .
