So are we saying he's a bad Offensive Coordinator now?

I just don't see how this one game has undone everything everyone on our team has accomplished up until this point...

There's not much more you can say. You can say "We stunk it up, and we're screwed cause we'll never fix the problems we have" but that is only a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Truth is coaches HAVE to come out with a confident face about fixing the problems because it helps in rebuilding the teams confidence.

It depends on how you define "it". I see "it" as problems

and deficiencies that are, in most cases, not gonna cost us the game against teams which are significantly less talented than us, and that's almost everybody we play. We've seen it early in the season - remember the NCST game? Our offense was bad in that game, but we were playing NCST, not FSU. A month later, the same things have not been fixed and it cost us against an outstanding team. Fortunately, we won't play another FSU this year, but even the coots or a good bowl opponent could be a problem. "It" probably won't be a problem the rest of the way due to our talent advantage.

Maybe he is hoping for a good recruiting year.
If not, he has to look in the mirror to get it fixed.

My favorite was, "We're just one play away."

... with "We just need to execute" a close second. Honorable mention goes to "We got who we got."
