You're not "appealing" to ANYONE on Tigernet. You're berating some imaginary group that does not exist. You're post is ridiculous. No one on a message board has the least amount of input into decisions of that nature....and its probably a good dang thing. Idiots gaining that kind of power would not be wise.
And although we're discussing YOUR post, I'll explain very simply to you that my opinion was we should have left the Atlantic Coast Conference in 1982. I voiced it then and it has not changed.

D is pretty bad over all, but ####, they have a safety. Not a whole lot of that in CFB right now. The O is nearly unstoppable. FSU at home is a tough environment, and honestly, scoring 40+ is enough to beat most teams. FSU was also overrated, but they were on FIRE that night. Tough break, especially since they came out and laid an egg at NCSU. Clemson is very close to being a top 10 program right now and is just a shade behind WVU imo. Not that many of you care, but there it is.

The 70-33 beatdown was pretty fluky. They stole the air out of the Clemson O with that 99 yard 14 point swing on the non-fumble by Ellington. No way Clemson loses by 37 points if that doesn't happen. Clemson was driving down the field and chewing up that defense, and the game was dead even up to that point. It was just a shot to the gut that the team never recovered from (and was a bad call IMO). The team was mentally weak. May still be this year, but I don't see them giving up that easily in the same situation.

i'm honestly questioning this guy's credibility right now. has he not watched ANY college football? Yes, our defense sucks, that doesn't mean that we are a bad team and don't deserve a higher ranking.
This guy is an idiot. I want to know where he would have WVU in the rankings? They are just like us (great offense, no defense), should they be ranked #5?

I agree this sucks but we can't say we are just like WV. That makes us look bad because everyone remembers what happened when we played 10 months ago.

well i'm not really saying we're JUST like them (although, literally, that's what i said) i mean that we are on par with them. I think they would beat us if we had a rematch but not NEARLY as bad as OB. Like the guy above said, they stole all of our energy with the fluke 99yd fumble return.
i think our defenses are about equal and their offense is slightly better.

Is he a complete idiot...Clemson is overrated! We are just about exactly where we should be if not maybe a spot or 2 higher.. I agree we havent beaten a serious contender and FSU just fell apart against NCSU which doesnt help our argument in the polls, but... our defense struggles yes, but by HIS stupid theory since our D isnt good we should be lower... HMMM, let me see... When our offense puts up over 600 YARDS then our D doenst have to be so GREAT ######. He does himself no favors in journalism 101 as he makes absolutely no sense at all... WVU defense is laughable and I think all Clemson fans should be greatful we dont have that inept defense...Hell, we look like Alabama compared to that hogwash...Yes, WVU whipped us last year and we deserve the lashing we have taken... Did he say we were "blown out" by FSU, LMAO... Jokester, we had lead until nearly the 4th quarter before we were overtaken by a freight-train... Writing in 2012 just isnt what it once was, sadly!
Seriously, get someone who can write an article as I have copied this and sent to CBS brass, as if they will do anything but I do feel better now
