Can someone explain single game ticket sales for games ?

Just got an email saying tickets are now available for all games home and away except for USUC. Email says it is from Clemson’s official website but it is clearly from Ticketmaster. Introduction says something about resale value might be higher than actual face value. Are these tickets the same ones available to anyone who contacts Ticketmaster online To get previously sold tickets or are these unsold tickets? I clearly don’t understand the process.

Both. Tickets are now on sale to the general public. Clemson uses Ticketmaster for their ticket sales. If the game is not sold out there will be face value tickets available (mostly higher in the upper deck).

However, this is also the same place people where be reselling their tickets (usually at a higher price than face value)/.

Thanks- just wondering how tickets are available for the Georgia game but none for the chickens. Seems backwards to me.

Probably has more to do with the face value price of the tickets. I believe the original face value price for the neutral site game vs GA are significantly higher than the face value of the USUC game in DV. More like the price of a playoff game. We decided not to go to the GA game because of the ticket prices. I want to see a game in that stadium but I’ll wait to pay those prices when it is a playoff game.

I have been there for a soccer game- had playoff tickets for the year I thought we would get that location but LSU got it instead- couldn’t sell the tickets so my son & his wife used them

I hear it is similar to JerryWorld but even nicer. I know I really enjoyed the game in Dallas vs ND so if it is better it must be great.

It's more about how many are contractually promised to the other team. Back when I first got season tickets, I got a 6 game, non-renewable package. It was explained to me that we provide so many to USC, and vice versa when we play there, that the last season tickets to be assigned are the ones excluding the USC game.

Each of our opponents are guaranteed x number of tickets. USC gets the most out of any. They might get 8k reserved tickets for them to resell to their fans while App State might get 2k or NC State gets 5k.

That doesn't explain why there are more for the UGA game and none for USC, but it does explain why they get so many.
