That’s the wonderful thing about Jesus my friend. Being a Christian doesn’t mean you have to be perfect because your savior is perfect for you. No man can escape sin. Whether it be murder or stealing, cursing or superstitious false belief. All sins are equal and all are paid for with the blood of Christ. As a Christian we recognize our sins, ask for forgiveness, and try to do better in the future through repentance. But make no mistake, sin and Christians go hand and hand. Only our Lord Jesus can save us from sin.

Jesus never condoned sin. He forgave sin with the explicit command to "sin no more". We all stumble and sin. If sin is a normal part of our life, we are not being the Slave to Christ that he demanded we be. Jesus told us to "take up your cross and follow me." There is not room in that command for habitual sin.

Funny you say that. Everyone knows I am Christian and asked myself the same question the other day when Clemson was behind and my first thought was that I need to change pencils I was using to score the game. Then I intentionally kept the same one because otherwise you are putting trust in a man made object/idol to deliver a result. Trust in God. Keep your lucky hat because it looks good not because it makes you win. Superstitions are really dumb when you think about it. Do those socks bring victory or God? I think we all know the answer.

Are you saying Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?

Probably not but we are human....Jesus interest is in one's soul and not the winner of the game.

Well...Caden Grice doesn't believe in superstitions, so don't worry about him. Humans are imperfect, no matter how righteous we try to be. We do the best we can and ask for forgiveness daily.
