Can anyone remind me of a worse QB performance at Clemson?

8/29, 99 yards, 27.5 QB Rating at home against a team with a passing defense in the 50s allowing a QB rating of 120.
I've been following pretty closely for the last 20 years and can't remember worse.

Nope and the fact the WR were blamed is the worst gaslighting I’ve ever seen. Go back and watch how man time AW was open but missed he wasn’t the only one either.

Even the announcer was commenting about how bad some of his throws were.
When he loses confidence, he falls apart.
I honestly believe Hunter Johnson could have played better. How bad must Cade be doing in practice?

Cole Stoudt was significantly better than DJ, not even close. He left Clemson with a 126 QB Rating.

You won’t find worse. Except for the one play to Collins, he was 7-28 for a grand whopping 40 yards. And let’s throw in an interception. It’s just literally impossible to watch. He needs to leave our school so bad, I literally do not know of one person that I am around that has anything positive to say about him. Just go, DJ, you are NOT wanted here.

I think even Pengitore of the early 70s was better. And Clemson rarely threw the ball then - mostly to Bennie Cunningham.
The primary call was "Pengitore on a keeper", which meant he got sacked.

DJ is obviously better in practice than he is with a crowd watching him.
Game day play is what matters and at some point Dabo is going to have to hand the starting reigns over to Cade and see what he’s got on Gameday

Rodney Williams, DeChane Cameron, Willie Korn, Kyle Parker, and Cole Stoudt come to mind. Also, each of these guys stunk up the joint when playing S.Carolina.
DJU isn't a pik machine or a complete dud.
These other previous Clemson QBs did one or the other ... and sometimes both.
DJU was awful yesterday, no question there. But to say that his performance yesterday is the worse ever for us reflects fans who are new to Clemson football.

Rodney Williams? I believe he was 3-1 against USC and much more accurate than DJU.
