Was the surgery Cam had not successful or is he just not willing to test it. All I have seen is him lob the ball back in. I think it could be affecting his hitting also. But he sure can still track the ball down.

That surgery takes a long time to completely heal. He's probably been instructed to not throw hard. Yes, he's lost power hitting. But no reason to take a chance. He's too valuable to the team.

People also forget how much of a threat he was on the bases in his Freshman year before the injury, stole 24 bases!

labrum repaired in my right hip and it was about a full year before I didn't have noticeable weakness on that side. Cam is younger and almost certainly has access to top notch treatment to aid his recovery, but I bet it's still a long process to get back to 100%.

U know we all see him struggle however the coastal announcer last night early on in the game said he had a cannon for an arm. I was like do even do any research before a game or actually watch games. I hate this for Cam and it happened sliding into third base. Shoulder injuries suck badly. Difficult joint to fix. Wish is wasn't so. One of the best pure hitters I have ever seen. Go Cam!

Yeah, Cam had a pretty below average arm even before the injury, I don't know anyone who would have said he had a cannon.
