This glorious mixture of lakes, foothills, green space, and varied stately mature trees........intermingled with tasteful, classic, perfectly laid out structures to facilitate the academic endeavors of our faculty and students.....is INDEED what we define as a "CAMPUS". We know you all wish you had one of these also..........

I love our campus, but there are two things that need to change in my opinion:
1. The union needs to go. It's so so so ugly, from the dorm to Harcombe to the crummy Chilis. It's a large, dark wall that totally interrupts an otherwise beautiful campus. I'd love to see the concept which showed up in the campus master plan become a reailty. Because what we've got there now is garbage.
2. The parking lots behind Sikes need to go. It needs to be a new building, a green, or some mixture of the two. There's no reason the most beautiful part of campus (Amphitheater, North Green, Garden) should be bordered by a crappy parking lot.

Agree with the union, but parking is already an issue. I would love some sort of underground parking garage for students, faculty, and general admission Gameday parking.

yea, parking is definitely an issue, but I'd love to see it put underground. I feel like that area would be so much better if it wasn't just some crappy parking lot.
