Camp QB Offer

Unsure of the identity, but a friend at the camp with one of his QB's said Riley took someone out of the practice area who was throwing for him. My best guess is an offer is being discussed.

I live in AZ and saw him play last season. He is raw but has a ton of potential. Queen Creek is a very good program and will develop him the right way. Here is what Tom Lemming said about him.

Reminds me of Vizzina. raw but elite measurables and intangibles. I like the kid from Utah the best, he reminds me of Bryce Young coming out of hs. Very accurate and knows where he to put it so his wrs catch it on the move.

- - - that didn’t work even close per expectations.

The AZ kid sounds like a baseball guy who somewhat recently shifted his focus to FB.

I hope we keep up the recruiting of him while he gets ready for his HS Junior year.

Loooong ways to go before we can judge this guy even reasonably well as far as QB IQ. He apparently has a big gun, quick release, and wheels. Not a bad foundation from which he can try to develop situational awareness and in-game presence skills.

One can battle your DJ numbers with Watson and TL. Works both ways. The truth is, you can't really tell till they get on a college campus. Lot's of booms and busts over the years out of the highly ranked guys with big numbers.

QBs (really all players) develop at their own pace regardless of the coach’s efforts. Some like DJ hit a ceiling.
