There are special athletes that come along every now and then. Guys who seem to always deliver, always making the play, always finding themself in the spotlight and shining the brightest. Cam is that guy. I get the same feelings with Cam at the plate as I did with Deshaun in the 4th quarter. He’s the best player on the field. And he knows it. Certain guys are born with that extra thing inside of them that makes them the baddest man on the planet when they have to be. Not sure where he stacks up in the eyes of some of the old timers, but from what these 2 eyes have seen that kid is an all time Tiger. And depending on how this season goes, I look forward to seeing that #10 beside the #28 one day.

I told my son when he came up they’d be better off walking him and letting 1 in instead of risking 4. After the 1st 2 pitches, I thought they were headed that way. But a Coot’s gonna Coot, and hung one out for him. The kid IS special! Go Tigers!
