Gotta feel for Cal players, kind of highlights the absurdity of these bi-coastal conferences.

They played UNC Wednesday night in Chapel Hill and won to advance to quarters.

They played Duke this evening in Durham and won to advance to semis.

I think the announcers said they stayed in a hotel in the area between the two games (that is, didn't fly back to California).

Didn't hear if they are just going to stay in the area (since semis are in Cary) or fly home tonight and fly back on, I guess, Thursday.

That is a lot of travel for a student athlete. And Cal isn't a jock school, so those kids have to focus on academics.

These coast to coast conferences won’t last. If they do, they will have to go to divisions that are geographic.

So we beat Cal then play the winner of Wakey vs uva or Pitt. Looks like uva who is up 2-0 at the 73 minute mark. We win the ACC and should be top 4 seed in tourney.

Yes, UVA just beat Pitt, so if we beat Cal we play UVA/Wake winner.

I don't know, we won the ACC last year and got seeded 9th in NCAAA tourney.

NCAA really pushes RPI. Our RPI wasn't very good last year, and it isn't this year either.

I think if we win the ACC again we have to be a top 4 seed this year though.

Sorry, just realized semifinals are Thursday night, not Friday.
