Spot on! he seemed to have taken that well but that doesn’t change the fact that he was wronged.***

Having him roll to his left? No good and not good where the ball was snapped.

When LBB calls it out you know it happened. Js people are starting to notice these things.
I've been watching closely since the spring game and Cade has been done wrong since he showed up. Spring game they gave him a slew of backups and walkons while DJ got the normal #1s.

Could also argue he was wronged when DJ took the victory formation snaps vs Syracuse.

And I still say that ngata didn't do him any favors. If you go back and look, look at where his hands are when he tries to catch it. He's got to know the back is right behind him and therefore his hands and body has to shield the defender. Go get the ball young man. Help your qb.

Agree. Ngata has gotta prevent the interception.

I disagree bc at this point nothing big

Is expected from Cade. If he was able to provide a spark then great. If not no biggie at least we tried to mix it up. I don’t think these last few possessions are going to affect him mentally.
He will be fine. Were they tough spots? Definitely.
But it was worth a shot bc DJ wasn’t getting done.

Can't argue with one part of the decision:
Putting Cade in the game when DJU hadn't been bad (score was 14 - 0) was Dabo's worst move of the night.
Pulling Cade after the his marshmellow pik was Dabo's unspoken acknowledgement that he F'd royally.
Did Dabo not know from practice, etc. that Cade is clearly not ready to play? (Cade's play against Syracuse was nothing noteworthy, except for the 2 point conversion.)
Did Cade not know that it was 2nd down when he threw that marshmellow pik ... and that the correct play was to simply throw the ball out of bounds? The marshmellow pik wasn't so much the problem as not recognizing what to do in that situation. Cade's play in that situation revealed to everyone that he's not ready to play important minutes.
(???) Did Dabo not know from practice, etc. that Cade is not ready to play? (Cade's play against Syracuse was nothing noteworthy, except for the 2 point conversion. His running was hardly Lamar Jackson-esque, fortunately he handed the ball of cleanly and our OL was able to whip Syracuse's small and depleted DL for the victory.)
I'm assuming that Dabo has learned his lesson and won't make that mistake again.

That’s a lot of Dabo not knowing. Seems to be a consistent theme the past 2 seasons.

What has DJ done to earn so much of a leash and love from you guys? Seriously reminds me of the Buccaneers fan base when Jameis Winston was out there throwing 30 ints. It's ludicrous to blame everyone but the guy who touches the ball every snap and makes the decisions on the field.

That QB switch back and forth was the worst of the coaching

Decisions last night.
Smacked of impulsive desperation without a lot of thought. And was a mental blow to both QBs.
I had no problem with brining Cade in, but even with the pick he should have had the rest of the game.

Cade should have had the entire second half. DJ was going nowhere fast.

Not a good look for Dabo and his staff…..they really screwed it up last night…..but from what I have heard from them I don’t believe anything has really changed……I believe Dabo looks at his coaches as his best friends and it is hard to chew out your coaches when they need it when you consider them to be your best buddies……he is their boss and it appears he has a hard time distinguishing one from the other….he can be their friend but needs to realize he is their boss and they have been hired to do their job….if they can’t get it done successfully he needs to tell them he will find somebody else sho can…..hiring from within has gotten us to this point and it ain’t looking good!

Does DJU have compromising pictures of Dabo? Aaking for a friebd.
Dabo is being way too loyal to DJU. He needs to be loyal to the team.
