Makes perfect sense to not infringe on other copywrites. Wonder if Clemson is providing blank jerseys to all players in part of the NIL business building incentives.

Part of the rules at Clemson regarding NIL is that you can’t use the school name or the Tiger Paw logo nor the facilities etc.
I’m sure there are some exceptions if the school is also involved and getting paid.

Interesting article and he's going to be a great player for Clemson. I got to admit it though, I don't get the GR80NE thing. What does that stand for, I get that 80 is his number, then what? please explain.

The story reminds me of Junior Bridgeman, the great basketball player from Louisville and then the Milwaukee Bucks. As a NBA player he spent his time going to lunch and dinner with the owner rather than going to clubs and partying with his teammates. He said he wanted to learn about business and how to handle his money since he know his playing days were limited. Asa a result Junior wound up owning over 100 Wendy's and Chili's restaurants, a Coca Cola Bottling company as well as other businesses. He has made far more from business than he did playing in the NBA.

How can it be destroying college football as we know it if kids are benefitting in ways other than padding their bank accounts? Where's all the bad NIL stuff for me to old man yell about?!

As an old man I am all for INL. The problems are like the ones expressed by the Ok St football coach where schools in the sec are calling his players tell them to transfer to their school. Promising big NIL deals. That's was supported to be illegal but there is no one over seeing program. Going to be like the wild wild west.
