Why would Clemson fall in rankings

simply because the class is full? Would that mean the other full classes in the top five would fall also? Makes no sense.

it is due to what the other schools will eventually sign. There will be a handful of schools that (perhaps) finish with a few more 4-5 star players than we will, some will sign more players (or both of the above) and we have several gray shirts that will bring our rating down slightly.
This is easily a top ten class (if it holds) with a chance for a top five (looking at you Huggins, Settle, Bailey). Regardless, this class is loaded and outside a few marginal gray shirt players, is as good as any we have ever signed.
I don't care were we end up in the "ratings", this is an exciting class and a program clearly getting better and better. What a thrilling time to be a Clemson Tiger!! Don't let an arbitrary rating COMPANY derail your enthusiasm.

It's not that we "fall" in rankings, it's that everybody else catches up once they sign a full class.

Bowden's referral
Jul 30, 2014, 9:18 PM
|
|
As I understand it, upon departing Bowden fingered Dabo as the guy to replace him. Assuming this is true, what foundation might there have been for Bowden to make this recommendation? One has to admit that, at the time, Dabo was a very unlikely candidate. He wasn't even a coordinator. His experience was so limited for the job he would be taking. Yet, here we are with a guy who is beginning to look as if he could become the most successful coach in our history.
I admire the guy and am grateful to Bowden for leaving us in good hands.
And while on the subject, I think we need to recall that Bowden is directly responsible for knocking the dust off our program. Lots of frustrations in the process, but our current success is pretty clearly linked with his efforts. This is not to take anything away from Dabo as the guy continues to surprise.

OBVIOUSLY we need to wait and see, Morris is an amazing coordinator, but with Jeff Scott learning from him we should be fine. And Scott is the recruiting machine for us other than Dabo of course.

Morris leaving??
Not so fast Mutt! Unlike some of the shady goings on down there in Athens, our coaching staff has integrity!
When Morris recruited Deshaun Watson, he gave that young man his WORD that he would "be there with him his ENTIRE 3/4 year career at Clemson"!!
That's all you need to know misinformed troll!
Go Tigers!!!!
