other than he’s waiting on something that was promised him?
What’s kind of nuts is that he’s by far the best player in the Gamecocks class and a hometown boy, and he’s starting his Gamecock career (maybe) by making them look ridiculous.
With the low drama we have on signing day, glad the Gamecocks could step up for us.

In all seriousness, they might be waiting for the bank to tell them what the payoff to their house is and trying to add up all the other bills. Banks are slow, it takes time people.

Didn't he have a few teammates from Hammond sign with South Carolina? I believe one of them was a 4 star guy, but did South Carolina sign anyone from there who was lower rated? I doubt this is the case, but maybe he was waiting for those guys to sign to make sure their LOI's were honored?
