Was that a called play, or did Cade call his own number?

There isn't a reason. If we got 1 it would be that is was God's will or something. That Cade being injured is part of the plan. Its an opportunity for others to be better..... Yada yada Yawn!!!!! Running your starting QB when the game is over ant developing anyone else to me is a sin. I mean God did bless us all with opportunities to show our talents. Cade's injury is a coaching mistake. All of them as a staff. Hopefully he can go Saturday, but if it cant and it doesn't go well I guess they are "wilting"where they're planted!. When we were told bloom where you're planted!!

I would imagine because the coaches on Tiger-net said Dabo pulled the starters too early the game before.

I assume it was to give Cade more experience and practice.

Evidently our developmental program didn’t have him ready enough as a senior.

Like a veteran QB…then he’d be fine. It’s OK to call a run there if the QB1 can just take what’s there (he had a positive gain) and then get down.

Amen running your QB in a 34-10 game is stupidity to me but Dabo does it all the time. Also think it is stupid to use your #1 WR and RB to RETURN KICKOFFS. Maybe Vizzina or Pearman shows out.

I would think the coaches would be more concerned about not having Cade available for the SMU game and giving the backups some valuable snaps then what the fans think.

The offense had not clicked from the first snap of the first game. UNC offered a chance to have some hope, but BC was a confidence builder.
Dabo wasn't trying to run up the score, he was telling his offense he had confidence in them to get the first down and score. For a coach who is known to want to get PT for as many players as possible, this is the only rational reason and it seemed apparent to me before the snap.
I hate that Cade got hurt, but it could've happened with any play in any game.

Because we have experienced running backs and they didn’t need anymore touches

Because we were running our offense trying to score.

The entire first team was in, and we were trying to score one final time with them.
Thing is, anybody can get hurt on any play. I don’t see any empirical evidence QBs get hurt more on running plays. Seems most QBs get hurt in the pocket.

If Dabo takes him out of the game, many will say he was taken out too early. You can't please everyone, and some you can never please... why try?
