Can sometimes happen when you get beaten by teams who shouldn't beat you. You give them a credibility they shouldn't have. Coots and Duke would be recent examples

All the oline misses hurt more than this. Good young dline. If he goes to Duke it’s probably for early playing time. Sucks to get beat out by Duke but at least it’s at a position we can afford to lose out on a recruit at.

I understand but it’s not like he picked a team that has a chance to win a championship. Most time we lose out on a player it’s to big time programs. If Davis picked Clemson when do you see him having alot of playing time. I think it would be year 3. We haveTJ parker for at least 2 more seasons. The other Parker will be fine. Mayo will be fine. Talking about moving Woods to end because of how good the interior is. It stinks like I said. But missing out on oline recruits hurt more.

yet that's where we were last year. 28-7.
Dabo has had better success and taken Clemson football to loftier heights than we would have dared to imagine. But today he and the Clemson football program are losing respect.
Last year before the season I said that it was a pivotal point for Dabo and Clemson football. I said that we'd learn a lot about the trajectory of the program. I was right. This year we'll learn even more.
We look to be improving on defense, so let's hope teams like Miami don't push us around like they did last year. More importantly, if the Clemson offense doesn't improve drastically, the glory days are over for the immediate future... and we can look forward to more Cheez-It Bowls and shootouts with crap teams like Kentucky.

Very disappointing b/c seemed we were shoo-in when Georgia went w/ some other guys on their board & took away spot for him. Davis probably figures he'll get early PT @ Duke while being closer to home to boot.
Hope we end up being pleasantly surprised when all said & done, but seeing predictions go the other way so close to time definitely not a good sign

He’s a really smart kid, doesn’t have NFL dreams, and wants to be a doctor or lawyer? A free ride at Duke isn’t nothing.
I have no info or insight on this kid, just wanting to pretend for a moment that it could be about education. Clemson is a great choice academically, but it isn’t Duke, and I say this as a proud Clemson graduate.
