That’s the only weakness I see on what should be a very strong Clemson team.

I'm thinking it might become a strength ...... but ...... depends on how fast he picks up pass protection as well as the returning backs, none of whom have proven their value protecting Cade.

"Zoomie" has the system under his belt and has some weight to him. Looking for him to make big impact this season hopefully.

Last year not even the committee got much work. Poor dinged up Mahfah got most of the work

If we struggle running the ball and can't spring some big runs against LSU in game 1 I hope Dabo will cut him loose.

I'm afraid that may not be the case. I don't think Dabo sees this game as a " must win " game that it actually is.

" Everything is still on the table " will be his message.

Cade never threw it to them when they had their window of opportunity
Dabo never played them enough to cut loose


I have zero confidence that we will play the best players and run the best plays for scoring points or making huge defensive stops. Brent Venables and Jeff Scott - the risk takers that always won and scored do not coach at Clemson anymore

Well if we follow last season's template he could be ETN incarnate but he won't see the field in any meaningful way until week 2. No idea why we did that last season with our clearly superior freshman WRs but we all saw it so who knows.

Don't forget EZ.

He is more than capable and should get the nod in my humble opinion.

Randall isn't an every down back. Maybe he can be.

With LSU you have to worry about the intangibles such
as fumbling the football. I want a known commodity at RB.

Randall should be used in a wheel route or some other similar innovative way
that Garrett undoubtedly has dreamt up.

A little creativity goes a long way and honestly that's why he was chosen.

Like ETN, its just a matter of time before he takes over as RB1. Dabo knows this has to be the year and the best players will play. Davidson and EZ will be the 1-2 punch at RB, Randall will be used in certain situations. But Davidson and EZ are the guys ready to explode
