Is free throw shooting. I remember how many close games we lost because of poor free throw shooting over the years

throw it in the ocean. Being the best FT shooting team in the tourney is a very different feel.

The '23/'24 squad is a good ten percentage points better. I still like this lineup though... I'd like to have seen Baylor's back-cuts against #1 and #2 on this list..

I remember teams purposely fouling us to get Clemson to the line so we could blow it.

Brads teams typically shoot free throws well.

As you know, this is in stark contrast to Clemson basketball under prior regimes.

I don’t have the stats in front of me but I don’t remember us being good at free throws during most of his tenure. Not a knock on Brad. If you have the stats, I would like to see them. I may be wrong

This is one of the areas where Coach HAS made consistent improvement. His offensive sets this past weekend were mostly impressive as well (obviously struggled a bit to hold onto lead to end yesterday, but breaks finally came our way and that was not necessarily an unusual comeback in tourney).
Would be great if JG3 could get hot from 3 Thursday to really expand the space for all - otherwise keep feeding bigs inside and ensure Chase and others drive HARD and with confidence - tourney refs routinely awarding foul shots and Chase now has a positive reputation that will likely be rewarded - on that note, ALL of our guys can probably benefit from a few more pump fakes, especially off the dribble, to draw fouls this week given the respect they have earned.
Unsure if Beadle is hurt, but hope he gets some minutes as well - deep enough team that many should get some minutes where they can at least come in and play hard D

That has not been a problem for 14 years.
Coach BB teams had improved FT shooting almost from year one..
