Brad calling out the refs

Credit to him for that after the Duke game. Everyone was hyper aware of the calls down the stretch, with announcers commenting and everything. I think it probably stopped them from doing the normal tobacco road bs and giving UNC the game at the end. Silver lining to the duke game

It definitely had an effect.

How much was what he said or just the perception of what could be if there were any doubts this time.

Screw Duke.

The officials did try it on a couple of calls and got called out by the game announcers.

The officials were very subtle last evening with their calls, by that I mean every time we were on the verge of putting it away a little whistle would slow our momentum. They allowed the holes to stay in the game.

That's true to a point, but we also did our job of making a multiple possession game in the final 30 secs this time, instead of giving the refs a chance to decide the outcome. Hall and Girard put the team on their backs and put the distance needed late.

Had Shef not turned the ball 3 times in the final 90 secs, the refs probably aren't put in the position to decide that one too, you just have to know what to expect in the final min at Duke and UNC and put the distance needed to not allow them to decide it.

Baycot should have been gone by the 10 minute mark of the second half. He got away with hammering Hall on both ends of the court.

They got three incredible calls at least...in the last 3 minutes last night...

I don't think it deterred them at all...unless of course they would have gotten 6 calls...
