BOT Votes to Change University's Name..........

The Clemson BOT met today and voted to change the name of Clemson University to the University of Clemson.
This is being done to avoid confusion as certain new football recruits believe they'll be attending the "University of Clemson."

If you think about this, it is actually a good thing. So, there is little benefit in ridiculing them, right?

they're signing with and will be attending and playing for. Nowhere in the media, ESPN, TV, etc. or on any of our printed information anywhere does it say "University of Clemson."
If they're good enough to come to Clemson, then should know the correct name.
Making a joke, by the way, is not the same as ridiculing them.

I think the obvious thing is to rename it "Clemson University of Clemson"
... everything is now covered.
