Johnson is the new member of the Playoff Committee.
When asked what he would be doing this summer to get ready for his new job,
He said he would see what teams were "looking good in the pre-season polls", then
immediately added that it was the season that counted....
What buffoonery! He sounded like a backwoods hayseed from rural Tennessee.
I know he's a local product, but bejeebus, he sounded stupid....

"Judge" you do know how much Bobby loved beating USuck? He is one of many natives and residents of Columbia who actually have the smarts to beat Spurrier so give him credit. Even though I am a native of Rock Hill, I currently live in Columbia and despite your shortsightedness not everyone living or born there is stupid!

While I obviously misunderstood your intent, please recognize as one of those fans living in chicken territory, you need to appreciate the fact your post was not one of your better ones.
Not everyone living in Columbia comes across as stupid. Coach Johnson has a fine, well earned reputation. I for one look forward to retirement somewhere other than Columbia.

Isn't it set up so people with ties to a school can't vote for that school? If so now we are -2 on votes and that doesn't sound good to me. Hope I'm wrong.

You, my friend (term used in jest) are the epitome of what's wrong with a lot (not the majority) of folks on this blog. Bobby Johnson is one of the foremost college football minds and representatives in the country! I'm biased due to the fact that he was my college coach (@ Furman). So, because I didn't play at Clemson, I'm already second rate, according to the uninitiated folks.
