Average mobility in high school is usually a lack of mobility in college. I hope I'm wrong.

He seems to be somewhere between Lamar Jackson and Tom Brady in terms of mobility.

Your assessment could not be further off...clearly he is somewhere between Michael Vick and Dan Marino.

So what you're saying is that on 4th and 1, DW would get there when Hebert has already gained about 1.5 yards.
What's going to happen when the Tigers get a Mobil QB?

Can scramble efficiently to extend drives, he'll be fine. I'll take mobility with a grain of salt until he's on campus since he's playing football in the Northeast - spring 2025 will be fun!
That said, efficient decision making + a quick release is an awesome combo to have too so if he's got that and it translates well when he arrives then he can be a gamer at Clemson.

As I said he does have those qualities. Not extremely mobile, but neither was DJ. If he moves with purpose and can slide in the pocket, he will excel

I think that just bc he hasn't received the 5th star yet, and some maybe just wanting to complain about something bc of that, but this kid looks really good to be as young as he is. I seriously believe that by the time he moves in at Clemson to start his Clemson career, he will move in as a 5 star QB where he will then lose all of those HS recruiting stars and begin his Clemson career from scratch just like DW4 and Trevor had to do. IMO, he looks to be better than Klubnik or Vizzina when they were Sophomores in High School. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it bc Hebert's as a HS Sophomore, his film looks like he is making throws that a lot of pretty good college QB's are throwing right now!!!
