but who knows what's really going on. Dave may have some demons he's working through.

Ha! I would love to know the story.
These days I’m less concerned with parents taking an overactive part in their kids life. It’s the ones that can’t be bothered, that lead to trouble down the line…
Pretty cool that he gets to have both kids so close and playing at big time programs. Logistically that is way easier and he’ll get to see more games, obviously. Hope it all works out individually and for their family.

Had a friend who was a college baseball coach. He's was at one of my son's high school games. There was a kid who was a pretty good player. I'm standing between this kid's dad talking to him and the college coach. The kids dad is: my son, blah, blah, my son, yada, yada....on and on.
I introduce the dad to the coach. Dad goes away. I look to my friend and say: "want me to introduce you to his son? He's my son's best friend." The coach says: "Heck no, I run from parents like that. The kids are usually good kids, but you can't coach them, you have to coach and manage parents. No way, I want that."
I bet Big Dave has done that to more coaches than he realizes. Turned his son into a head case.

Interesting!!! Vol fans and coaches are usually as trashy as Gamecock fans. Big Dave has said some things and done things that I personally am glad he hasnt brought here with his other son. However, considering the hate on DJ and the way he played all year he was a better man than me not to get on here and call fans out for berating his son. I give him props for that.

Heard from a well respected booster that I’m guessing most on here would know but somehow the NCAA was involved and told the booster they needed to steer clear of this guy. No details on the why but he disappeared around Clemson. I did see he did attend the Notre Dame game. First one in a long while.Hate it for DJ but I have a feeling his dad maybe scum.
