Who would have thought that our basketball program is better than our baseball program. Out coached, out played & out hustled... kudos to CofC they earned it..

I don't know what DRad knows about Clemson baseball but if we become a losing team its not gonna go over well with a lot of people. We will have to make changes there.

Big Ball doesn’t work consistently...

I have warned against this style of baseball since this coach was hired. I am a firm believer that small ball is the most consistent way to win championships. I know big ball is all the rage right now. However, our performance against small ball teams has shown the style to be superior. Maybe I am just old fashioned?! I think the coach is a good recruiter and great guy. I just don’t agree with the philosophy he is stuck on right now. He would argue small ball is akin to the triple option. I disagree. Small ball focuses on pitching and winning games 2-1, 3-0. It’s possible to have a small ball team with power hitters throughout the lineup. Just change philosophy, coach! You have the players! Focus on pitchers a little more and defense a lot more. But , hey, that’s just my opinion!

I'm slightly confused by your post.
How does the offensive philosophy have any effect on the defense and much less the pitching?
