Let’s say you could kick out 2 schools from the ACC and split the difference amongst the remaining teams which 2 would you ? I would bounce Wake and NCST

UVA
ALL suck at FB. Wake at least tries but just cannot compete due to top recruits just don't want to play there. You don't win w/o the best talent.

Good point. Notre Dame is treated by the NCAA as its own conference with a seat at the table as powerful as any. I've always resented that.

NC state is one of the better athletic programs sadly, surely BC and Syracuse. If for any other reason, they a long with pitt just dont feel like an ACC team

Wake for sure. Then it would be between Boston College and UVA. Kind of hopeless programs. Probably UVA though. Elliot will be fired within a 5 years max. That's being generous too.

don't favor "kicking out" any member.
To suggest such adopts an elitist attitude that I have long despised, for each of our fellow conference members has its own assets and weaknesses JUST LIKE US.
It's, also, an attitude that many of us have attributed to certain other programs within the ACC, not to mention names. Additionally, it's a condescending slight to the good folks who support the other programs.
Hence, I won't do it. Others can, if they choose in the old to each his own vein.

Duke is the first. Less power for North Carolina, and the least watched football program.
I can’t kick out Wake. They have done the best they can with what they have, and frequently side with Clemson on voting issues.
Syracuse has surprisingly good TV viewership. They stay.
UNC has poor viewership and is generally a PIA, but they and UVA need to stay.
GT has most in common with us, they stay.
It’s gotta be BC for the other kick out spot. And I don’t hate them, but if 2 must go it’s BC and Dook.

The Clemson-Syracuse game was #1 in ratings for the week last year. That makes me unsure of kicking out 'Cuse. But, definitely, it would be two of the Big East teams.
