Banana Ball Ticket Lottery email?

I had signed up for the ticket lottery for the Banana Ball baseball game to be held in Death Valley on Saturday, April 26.

A few hours ago, I received my email stating that I had been selected to purchase tickets.
Quite a price range. Does anyone have any knowledge of the set-up?

My understanding is that you’ve been selected for the lottery to be assigned a time when you can buy tickets, though tickets aren’t guaranteed to be available

I got the initial - you signed up, here is what to expect...but not the follow up. Does that mean I was not given a chance to get tickets?

Check your promotions inbox if you're on Gmail. But yes I got one email saying the lotto was happening today and to look for a second. The second email saying I was chosen landed in my promotions/spam inbox.

Wife texted earlier she was selected for something involving a banana, so maybe that’s why she meant. I’ll take her as she’s went to many a ballgames in the cold I know she probably didn’t care to go to
