I think I read somewhere we have 54 true and redshirt freshmen.

We aren't the SEC. We aren't going to oversign and treat these guys like 2nd rate citizens. So not sure what you want the staff to do.

We all knew this would be an unusually small class going forward.

Well didn't they just have like 3 QBs transfer?

They sign 25 4-5 stars per year and the ones that aren't good enough to consistently get on the field leave. It's possible some get shown the door, but Saban was pretty pissed about the QBs transferring.
