That pitcher for USC upstate would easily be our number 2 starter. If Bakich can't find players like that and pull them from USC upstate to Clemson, he needs to hit the road
There's just no excuse for Bakich to have not recruited better pitching for this season

Lol, we will see.... I'm still bullish on my mid season prediction that we have no chance hell to make it out of a super regional if we even manage to get there.

Before the season I'll take any team in America, with a few exceptions, and bet you they wont make
it out of their Super regional. That is if they even get that far.

Wrong. Jury is still out on whether Bakich knows how to put together a good pitching staff….. Michigan had good pitching once or twice…. Bakich overall record is mediocre for that reason. His teams pitching usually stinks

Belanger is widely regarded as a top pitching coach. We had a lot of injuries or out pitching would look different.
Sometimes dudes develop into pitchers. There’s a reason he’s at upstate and not a P4. He’s not at uSc either. What did he look like in HS? You guys look T what you see NOW and think that’s what they were a year or two ago. It’s not that easy bro.

Disagree 100%… he is a phenomenal coach , example taking a Monte team that couldn’t make the tourney and the very next year won the acc and a national seed… I will say he needs to step up recruiting or do a better job at evaluating talent bc this is one of the worst hitting teams iv seen at Clemson in a long time, even the teams that were bad hit better than this.

No this is far from phenomenal , I said he was a phenomenal coach … like let’s be completely honest with ourselves guys look at the lineup … this team is trash talent wise and we were very over rated . He gets the absolute most out of his teams but this team is just not talented
