Bad parenting or felony?

Sirius question - my high school aged daughter got an envelope in the mail and the return address was from the USuC Admissions Office and so I throw it in the trash unopened. Question - am I a guilty of some federal mail felony? Will the Post Office send out the men in blue shorts? In my defense, it was for her own good.

Legally, I think it depends on if she's 18 yet or not. If not, then you can still make decisions for her as her parent and there's not much she can do about it. If she is, then she can call all 9's and file a lawsuit if she so desires.

They do when people admit to their crime on a public message board bc, they are the only ones they have any proof of them throwing away the mail addressed to someone else. The jail is full of idiots telling on them selves!!!

you can send anything back to them (I think the limit is 70 lbs or something) and they have to pay for it.
I sent a couple of rocks back to them when I was in HS by taping the envelope to them. I don't know if they made it, but they were taken from my mailbox
