I can empathize.

As posted on here a couple years ago, I was charged once by a rabid racoon, which I had to kill with a tree branch while tripping on mushrooms.

To say it was surreal is an understatement.

Pisgah Nat Forest as a kid. I saw a bobcat take down a 100lb+ deer. I was hiking an old forest service road and Bob cat came off top of cut, deer was ahead of me ~ 2 300'.They are vicious!
